Production & Shipping of Fine Art Prints

When you purchase artwork from Leia Tatucu, whether it's a unique original piece or a fine art print, your contractual partner is always Leia Tatucu herself. While unique mixed-media pieces are personally created and shipped by Leia to collectors, for our fine art prints, we collaborate with leading global manufacturers. These trusted partners are responsible for the production and direct shipment of your fine art prints, ensuring each piece arrives safely and promptly to become a cherished part of your collection. To guarantee efficient delivery and meticulous care, your fine art print will be produced and dispatched from the most strategically located facility, chosen based on your selected artwork and its shipping destination.

It's important to note that while Leia Tatucu operates as a small business under applicable German tax law, the production partners we collaborate with for fine art prints are larger commercial entities.

Manufacturing and delivery times vary based on the production location and your shipping address.

Production & Shipping of Fine Art Prints with Printspace Studios Limited

Printspace operates production studios in London (UK) and Düsseldorf (Germany). Your artwork is printed on demand and typically dispatched within 2-5 working days.

Shipping Methods & Rates:

• UK & EU/EEA: Orders are sent via standard postage. You can upgrade to DHL Express courier at checkout for a more secure option.
• Rest of World (including USA, Canada, Australia): Orders are always shipped via Express Courier to ensure fast and secure delivery.

Shipping costs are a flat rate per order for prints. Please refer to the table below for detailed pricing based on your delivery country:

 

Fine Art Print Production & Shipping with WhiteWall Media GmbH

WhiteWall, a renowned specialist in fine art printing, expertly produces each piece in their advanced studio located in Cologne, Germany.

Production & Dispatch:

• Within Germany: Prints are typically dispatched within 6 working days.
• International: For destinations such as Australia, New Zealand, or Argentina, dispatch usually occurs within 13 working days.

Shipping Times & Rates:

Shipping costs are not included in the item price and will be calculated at checkout based on your print's size and delivery location.

• Within Germany: Standard delivery starts from €4.95, with a timeframe of 2-5 working days (Monday-Friday) after dispatch.
• International: Standard delivery begins at €33.57, taking approximately 13 working days (Monday-Friday) after dispatch.

For an estimate of shipping costs prior to purchase, WhiteWall offers a calculator on their homepage (found in the footer under "Versandkosten & Lieferzeiten berechnen"). All final, detailed shipping costs will be clearly presented at checkout.

Shipping Original and Commissioned Artwork

We take great care in delivering your original or commissioned artwork safely to your doorstep. Shipping costs and delivery times are customized based on the size, weight, and destination of each piece. For an exact shipping quote before purchase, feel free to contact us through our contact form.

Where We Ship

Currently, we ship original and commissioned artwork to countries within the European Union and Switzerland. If you're commissioning a piece, we will personally discuss and finalize all shipping details during the consultation process.

Shipping Costs for Commissioned Artwork (EU)

• Medium-sized pieces (e.g., 40x40cm, 50x50cm, 60x60cm): €125.00 flat rate per piece
• Large pieces (e.g., 80x80cm, 50x100cm, 70x100cm): €200.00 flat rate per piece
• For artworks exceeding these standard sizes, shipping costs will be carefully estimated and finalized during our commissioning consultation. This ensures accurate pricing for your unique, custom-sized pieces based on their specific dimensions and weight.

For clients in South-Western Germany, we offer local delivery and installation at no extra cost.

We also strive to reuse packaging materials whenever possible, aligning with our commitment to sustainability.

What to Do Upon Delivery

Once your artwork arrives, please inspect the packaging and the piece immediately. If you notice any damage:

1. Take clear photographs of the issue.
2. Notify us right away so we can resolve it quickly with the shipping carrier.

Your statutory warranty rights are always protected.

Delivery Timelines

As each commissioned piece is unique, shipping times will vary. We’ll provide a tailored delivery estimate, which will be outlined in your commissioning contract.

Shipping Costs for Limited Edition Fine Art Prints

We take great care to ensure your limited edition fine art prints arrive safely and in perfect condition. Each print is signed by the artist, expertly packaged, and shipped directly from our headquarters.

Here’s a quick breakdown of our flat shipping rates:

• Within Germany: €10.00
• Within the European Union (outside Germany): €15.00
• Outside the European Union: €25.00

These rates cover secure packaging and shipping, so your print arrives safely and ready to be enjoyed as a valuable collector’s item.

Important Information for All Orders

• Customs and Import Taxes: If you are ordering from outside the European Union, please be aware that your purchase may be subject to import duties and taxes upon arrival in your country. As the buyer, you are responsible for covering these fees. Since customs policies vary from country to country, we cannot predict or control these charges.
• Combined Orders: Please note that shipping fees are calculated per order. If your order includes multiple items fulfilled by different partners, such as a fine art print and an original artwork, they will be shipped separately. Our fine art prints are expertly produced and shipped by our partners, Printspace Studios Limited and WhiteWall Media GmbH. Original artworks are sent directly from my studio in the Zollernalb region of Baden-Württemberg.
• Returns: Commissioned artwork is created uniquely for you. In accordance with German law (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply to these custom-made goods.
