Arte Sono 2020: My First Group Exhibition
It’s been a while since I last shared an update here, but rest assured, I haven’t stepped away from creating art. The process of bringing new works to life continues to be a source of immense joy and discovery for me. Lately, I’ve been exploring new techniques and experimenting with different mediums, which has been both challenging and exhilarating—more on those creative adventures soon.
Today, I’m beyond excited to share some wonderful news: I’ve been selected to participate in Arte Sono 2020, a prestigious group exhibition curated by Atelier MaMuK (Marion Musch Kunst). Since its inception in 2017, Arte Sono has grown into a renowned platform that celebrates the intersection of fine art and music, showcasing talented artists from the Stuttgart region. It’s an honor to be part of this remarkable event, which not only emphasizes creativity but also fosters a sense of collaboration between different artistic disciplines.
For years, a close friend encouraged me to apply, but I hesitated, feeling that my portfolio wasn’t quite where I wanted it to be. Self-doubt can be such a tricky thing to overcome! However, after successfully hosting my first solo exhibition last year—a huge heartfelt thanks to Dani and Harry Fendt for their incredible support and encouragement—I finally felt ready to take the leap and submit my application. To now be selected for Arte Sono 2020 feels like an incredible milestone and a personal achievement.
