Geometric Motif Pattern from Headpiece 1 is a vibrant fine art print that brings a piece of cultural heritage into your home. The artwork, rendered in detailed fineliner, is inspired by the intricate geometric patterns of traditional women's headpieces from the Caransebeș region of Romania. Its bold and lively colour palette—rich with red, purple, green, and blue—makes this piece a captivating focal point for any room.

The inspiration for this print is a woman's cap - ceapsă (pronounced chyap-suh) from the Caraș-Severin county, dating back to the second quarter of the 20th century. The original museum piece is a head covering made from hemp cloth, worn by married women and decorated with polychrome wool embroidery featuring motifs like ram's horns and rhombuses.
