This fine art print captures the striking geometric motif from a traditional Romanian women's blouse, or ciupag. The design is inspired by an all-white garment from Romania's Lăpușnicel region, dated to the second quarter of the 20th century.

The blouse that inspired this print was made of cotton and adorned with intricate cutwork embroidery (known as drawn-thread work) on the chest and sleeves, stitched with delicate white silk thread. Its decoration combines stylized geometric and plant-based motifs—like rosettes, ram's horns, and wheat ears—arranged in overlapping rhombuses. These patterns were designed to catch the light, creating a subtle shimmer with every movement.

This print is a timeless tribute to the artistry and skill of its makers, celebrating the rich heritage of traditional Romanian attire.
